The popular Livan X6 Pro crossover and Livan S6 Pro sedan are equipped with the 1.5-liter Geely BHE15-AFZ turbo engine, which has been manufactured by the Chinese company since 2021. This power unit was developed as a component of Aurobay, a joint venture with Volvo.

Disadvantages of the Geely BHE15-AFZ engine
Like all direct injection engines, it has carbon deposits on the intake valves; the timing chain lasts for a very long time without being changed, even after runs of up to 200,000 kilometers; consumables are slightly more expensive on specialized forums; and there aren’t many complaints or known vulnerabilities in China.
