From 2012 to 2013, the company manufactured the 4.0-liter Audi CEUA or A8 4.0 TFSI engine, which was installed on charged versions of the well-liked A8 sedan in the D4 body prior to restyling. This engine was replaced with a more potent engine under the CTGA index after the model was redesigned.

Disadvantages of the Audi CEUA engine
Low-quality fuel, oils, and frequent overheating are intolerable to this turbo engine.
Because of everything mentioned above, the engine cylinders soon develop scuffs.
The already limited resource of turbines is reduced to 70–100 thousand kilometers by lubrication savings.
Here, high-pressure fuel pump leaks are also common, and fuel from these pumps may find its way into the oil.
Additionally, upper timing chain tensioners and active engine mounts are weaknesses.
