Since 2018, the German company has been producing the 2.0-liter Volkswagen DKZA turbo engine, which is found in well-known models like the Arteon, Passat, T-Roc, Skoda Octavia, and Superb. Combined fuel injection and Miller’s economical cycle operation set the unit apart.

CZPA, CZPB, DKZA, CVKB, CYRB, and CYRC are all part of the EA888 gen3b series.

Disadvantages of the VW DKZA engine
The water pump’s short-lived plastic case is the motor’s weak point;
Oil leaks frequently occur along the valve cover’s front;
Oil enters the intake due to the crankcase ventilation system’s inability to handle a very dynamic ride; on specialized forums, people frequently complain about GPF particulate filter issues.
