Since 2018, the German company has been producing the 2.0-liter Volkswagen DKZA turbo engine, which is found in well-known models like the Arteon, Passat, T-Roc, Skoda Octavia, and Superb. Combined fuel injection and Miller’s economical cycle operation set the unit apart.

Disadvantages of the VW DKZA engine

The water pump’s short-lived plastic case is the motor’s weak point;
Oil leaks frequently occur along the valve cover’s front;
Oil enters the intake due to the crankcase ventilation system’s inability to handle a very dynamic ride; on specialized forums, people frequently complain about GPF particulate filter issues.
