From 2003 to 2012, the company’s factory assembled the 3.6-liter V6 General Motors LY7 engine, which was installed on the Cadillac STS, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Malibu, or Suzuki XL-7 under the N36A index. Phase regulators were only installed at the intake of a streamlined version of the LE0 on the Holden model.
L3B, LP9, LF1, LFX, LFY, LGX, LLT, and LY7 are high feature engine families.

Disadvantages of the GM LY7 engine
This power unit’s low timing chain resource is thought to be its primary issue;
They can extend up to 100,000 kilometers, and replacing them is costly and difficult;
The front cover can be easily damaged when changing chains, but the cost is high;
As it happens, the radiators in this series leak frequently, and the motors are terrified of overheating;
A short-lived pump and an unpredictable control unit are additional weaknesses.
