Engine Peugeot TU3JP

The TU3 series included the 1.4-liter Peugeot TU3JP engine in the KFW and KFX modifications. The device was installed on models 106, 206, 306, and Partner and was manufactured between 1993 and 2006. A TU3M motor with a single injection and a marginally reduced torque was put together in parallel up until 2001.

Disadvantages of the TU3JP engine

The engine can be fixed in any workshop due to its straightforward structural design;
Sensor malfunctions and ignition system failures account for the majority of the issues;
Because of air leakage into the intake, dirt on the throttle, and idle speed controller, engine speed frequently floats;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition because the valves always bend here when it breaks.
Every 50,000 kilometers, the valve must be adjusted because there are no hydraulic lifters.
