Disadvantages of the YTMA engine
As of right now, the majority of owners are complaining about lubricant leaks from the oil heat exchanger; the engine is relatively new, and there are no comprehensive statistics regarding its issues;
The cooling system’s pipes will rapidly corrode if the antifreeze is not changed for an extended period of time;
The timing chain will stretch after 250,000 km, and the phase regulator can knock to 100,000 km;
Numerous instances of valve failure in complex intake systems have been reported on specialized forums.
