Engine Land Rover 448PN

From 2004 to 2009, the company manufactured the 4.4-liter Land Rover 448PN gasoline engine, which was installed in well-known SUVs like the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Discovery 3. This engine, also known as the AJ41, was developed by Jaguar engineers especially for Land Rover.

Disadvantages of the Land Rover 448PN engine

The owners’ only grievance with this dependable atmospheric engine is fuel consumption.
The most well-known engine issue is the phase regulators’ quick failure.
Overheating is not recommended for this engine because it is made entirely of aluminum.
Oil from the crankcase ventilation valve entering the intake is typically indicated by heavy smoke.
The remaining issues are related to lubrication leaks, particularly at the motor section joints.
