Disadvantages of the X22XE engine

Contamination of the idle speed controller, crankcase ventilation, or EGR is linked to traction dips and floating engine speeds;
The exhaust manifold frequently cracks;
The timing belt has numerous issues; when it jumps, the phases go off course; when it breaks, the valves bend; all types of sensors frequently malfunction, but the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors are particularly problematic; hydraulic lifters can knock to 100,000 kilometers when using low-quality lubricant.
