The new Yaris generation, built on the GA-B or TNGA modular platform, debuted the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder Toyota M15A-FKS engine in 2019. This motor is a member of the Dynamic Force Engine family, just like the A25A-FKS and M20A-FKS power units.

The engines A25A-FKS, A25A-FXS, M15A-FKS, M15A-FXE, M20A-FKS, M20A-FXS, and T24A-FTS are also part of the Dynamic Force family.
The engine was mounted on:
- Toyota Corolla 12 (E210) since 2020;
- Toyota Yaris 4 (XP210) since 2019;
- Toyota Yaris Cross 1 (XP210) since 2020.

Disadvantages of the M15A-FKS engine
Direct injection D-4 implies demanding fuel quality; thus far, the only complaints on specialized forums have been about leaks in the EGR liquid cooler; occasionally, this heat exchanger cracks and antifreeze enters the engine cylinders directly; closer to 100,000 kilometers, the EGR valve is frequently completely wedged and clogged with deposits.
