Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 4D68 engine
This diesel engine is well-known for having frequent oil leaks and being unreliable;
Due to its limited resources, the turbine may need to be replaced after 100,000 kilometers;
At 50,000 kilometers, the balance shaft belt frequently breaks, endangering the engine;
Additionally, the EGR valve quickly gets clogged with soot, the crankshaft pulley frequently cracks, and many owners experience cracked head blocks on high mileage.
