From 1995 to 1998, the company assembled the 2.8-liter 30-valve Audi ACK 2.8 V6 engine, which was mounted on well-known models like the A4 in the rear of the B5 and the A6 in the rear of the C4 or C5. There are numerous analogues of this motor with slight variations, including APR, AMX, AQD, and ALG.

The EA835 series includes: ABC, AAH, ALF, BDV, ARE, ACK, ALG, BBJ, ASN.

Disadvantages of the Audi ACK engine
Oil and antifreeze leaks are common with this power unit, particularly after overheating;
Chain tensioners and hydraulic lifters cannot withstand poor lubricants;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition; if it breaks, the valves will bend here 100% of the time;
Frequent contamination of the throttle, crankcase ventilation, and idle valve causes numerous issues;
The electrician gets feverish at high mileage: lambda probes, coils, and sensors.
