From 2009 to 2015, the company produced the 1.8-liter Audi CDHA 1.8 TFSI turbo engine, which was fitted to Seat Exeo sedans and the basic A4 model modifications in the B8 body. The Audi A4 B8 was equipped with the first generation EA888 engine under the CABA index between 2008 and 2009.

Disadvantages of the Audi CDHA engine
High oil consumption is this turbo engine’s most well-known issue.
The manufacturer has made a number of piston options available, and replacing them frequently helps;
The engine starts to overheat as a result of the oil burner, and the valves are soon covered in soot;
Here, the timing chain is a limited resource that can reach up to 150,000 kilometers;
The unit’s water pump, high pressure fuel pump, and ignition coils are also weak points.
