Disadvantages of the Audi CNCD engine

A decrease in the system’s oil pressure is linked to the majority of this motor’s malfunctions;
Oil pump failures or clogged bearing strainers are typically the cause;
There have been instances of detonation-related piston cracking; replacing them with forged ones is helpful;
Here, too, the phase control system fails as the timing chain is swiftly removed;
Numerous issues with the cooling system include: a pump with a thermostat or valve N488 is leaking; adjusting the boost pressure actuator usually helps with engine thrust failures.
