Disadvantages of the Audi BPP engine
The intake manifold flaps are the least useful and are frequently replaced after 100,000 kilometers;
The CR Bosch EDC16 system’s erratic piezo injectors cause numerous issues;
As early as 200,000 kilometers, a complicated and costly timing chain may need to be replaced;
After 100,000 kilometers, the injection pump drive belt breaks without any repercussions;
The particulate filter or the EGR valve frequently clogs after a run of more than 250,000 kilometers.
