Engine Audi CFGB

From 2009 to 2015, models like the Golf, Passat, Sharan, Seat Alhambra, and Skoda Superb were equipped with the 2.0-liter CFGB or Audi TT 2.0 TDi diesel engine. The unit is an upgraded CBBB diesel that is part of the second generation EA189.

Disadvantages of the Audi CFGB engine

The electromagnetic injector Bosch fuel system has a long lifespan;
Regular leaks and an unreliable oil separator are the main issues;
Keep a close eye on the timing belt’s condition because when it breaks, the valves bend. The remaining issues are related to diesel particulate filter or EGR valve contamination.
