Engine Audi AMB

The popular A4 model in the B6 body was equipped with the 1.8-liter turbocharged Audi AMB 1.8T engine, which was manufactured at the factory between 2000 and 2005, but only in the American market version.

Disadvantages of the Audi AMB engine

In this case, oil coking in the supply pipes frequently causes the turbine to fail;
Air leakage in the intake is the primary cause of floating engine speeds.
The crankcase ventilation failure is the primary cause of the carbon deposits’ quick formation;
The resource of ignition coils with integrated switches is low.
The secondary air system, N75 valve, and coolant temperature sensor are the motor’s weak points.
