The OM402 engine has eight cylinders, a 12.8-liter capacity, and 256 horsepower. The range of applications unites the entire series. These include buses, power plants, truck tractors, and different kinds of heavy earthmoving machinery.

High-quality, dependable, and low-toxic diesel engines OM402 work flawlessly with turbocompression equipment. They are small, have a long service life, are easy to maintain, and have unassuming fuel quality.
The engines in this series have a service life of more than 400,000 kilometers, and some have even reached 800,000 kilometers without requiring significant repairs. Additionally, they typically require repairs due to the CPG’s normal wear and tear rather than unintentional damage. Furthermore, with the exception of situations involving oil starvation, the crankshaft is typically in excellent condition and doesn’t even need to be reground.
