Engine Volkswagen BRN

Produced between 2005 and 2011, the 6.0-liter Volkswagen BRN or Phaeton W12 6.0 engine was limited to the Phaeton sedan’s maximum configuration in an extended version. This model also had additional power unit modifications with the BAN or BTT index installed.

Keep an eye on this engine’s cooling because it fears overheating;
Low-quality oil and persistent overheating are factors in the development of scoring;
Cylinder seizures cause remarkable oil consumption in addition to knocking;
The liners frequently turn when the system’s lubrication pressure drops;
Timing chains may stretch after 200,000 kilometers, and replacing them requires removing the engine.
