Disadvantages of the Geely JLC-4G15 engine
The unit is commended on specialized forums, and no flaws have yet been discovered;
The timing chain operates for a considerable amount of time, and if it stretches, it will do so over a distance of more than 150,000 kilometers; additionally, lubricant consumption may occur during extended runs as a result of rings;
The cylinder head lacks hydraulic lifters, and the valves must be adjusted every 100,000 kilometers.
