Disadvantages of the Geely MR479QA engine

This is a very dependable unit by design, but the build quality frequently lets it down;
Here, sensors, attachments, and parts of the ignition system are not very useful;
On a run of less than 50,000 kilometers, the timing belt frequently breaks, but the valves do not bend here;
Valve stem seals may wear out and an oil burner may appear closer to 100,000 kilometers;
Remember to adjust the valves because there are no hydraulic lifters available.
