From 1998 to 2003, the American plant produced the 2.5-liter V6 Honda J25A engine, which was exclusively used in the well-liked third-generation Inspire or Saber models. In the large family of J-series V-shaped motors, this motor is thought to be the rarest.

The J30A, J32A, J35A, and J37A internal combustion engines are also part of the J-series.
The engine was mounted on:
- Acura TL 2 (UA4) in 1998 – 2003;
- Honda Inspire 3 (UA4) in 1998 – 2003;
- Honda Saber 2 (UA4) in 1998 – 2003.

Disadvantages of the Honda J25A engine
Although this specific motor is uncommon, the entire series is renowned for its dependability;
Watch the oil level; when it drops, the camshafts deteriorate quickly; engine speed frequently floats here due to throttle valve contamination;
The valve bends 100% when the timing belt breaks after about 100,000 kilometers; there are no hydraulic lifters, and valve clearances need to be adjusted every 50,000 kilometers.
