Disadvantages of the Mazda KF-DE engine

Keep an eye on the cooling system because this aluminum block is terrified of overheating;
These power units frequently start using oil after 100–150 thousand runs;
There are lubricant leaks from beneath the valve covers at roughly the same runs;
The timing belt shifts every 80,000 kilometers, but the valves hardly ever bend when it breaks;
Hydraulic lifters can travel up to 50,000 kilometers using subpar oil.
