Mercedes-Benz produces the OM366 diesel engine. This four-stroke engine has a volume of 5958 cubic centimeters, or 360 cubic inches.

It presents the 300 series of engines, which went into production right after World War II. In particular, the OM366LA, which was introduced in 1984, took the place of the OM362A, which had six cylinders and 120 horsepower.
