Engine MMZ D-243

Fuel is injected straight into the vertical, in-line cylinders of the D-243 engine, a four-stroke diesel engine. There is no turbocharging in the base model. Diesel engines are used in locations where air exchange is unrestricted. Diesel engines are made to run in ambient temperatures between +40°C and -45°C.
