Disadvantages of the Porsche MCT.MA engine

Scuffing in the cylinders is the most well-known issue with these turbo engines.
They can be caused by poor lubrication, low-quality fuel, or inadequate warm-up in cold weather.
Pistons are destroyed by detonation, but they can be replaced with forged ones.
The timing chains stretch and start to rattle up to 150,000 kilometers when driving actively.
The engine’s cooling system pipes and ignition coils are its weak points.
