Engine SsangYong D20DTF

Produced since 2010, the 2.0-liter SsangYong D20DTF or 2.0 e-XDi diesel engine is exclusively found in the New Actyon crossover, also referred to as the Korando C in other markets. Although the company developed this diesel on its own, some solutions were borrowed.

Disadvantages of the SsangYong D20DTF engine

Early on, the Delphi fuel system caused a lot of problems, particularly with the high-pressure fuel pump;
After that, it got easier, but the injectors still frequently pour and even adhere to the cylinder head;
Here, crankshaft liner rotation is thought to be the second most frequent failure.
The cause is a decrease in oil pressure brought on by extended periods of slow driving.
A temperature sensor, a crankshaft damper, and a turbine are additional weaknesses.
