Engine SsangYong D22DTF

The Korando C compact crossover, also referred to as the New Actyon index, is equipped with the 2.2-liter diesel engine SsangYong D22DTF or 2.2 e-XDi, which has been manufactured since 2015. Only South Korea and Europe had this diesel engine installed.

Disadvantages of the SsangYong D22DTF engine

Diesel is sensitive to the quality of diesel fuel and has an erratic fuel system;
Any savings result in costly repairs;
Additionally, the crankshaft damper, timing chain tensioner, and turbine operate slightly here; the variable displacement oil pump prevents liner issues;
The contamination of the LNT converter and DPF filter is the cause of the remaining issues.
