Since 2014, the 1.4-liter Volkswagen CZDA 1.4 TSI engine has been manufactured in Mladá Boleslav and is found in popular concern models like the Golf, Passat, Touran, and Tiguan. New engines from the EA211 NEO family are currently gradually replacing this power unit.
CWVA, CWVB, CJZA, CJZB, CHPA, CMBA, CXSA, CZCA, CZDA, CZEA, DJKA, DACA, and DADA are all part of the EA211 series.

Disadvantages of the VW CZDA engine
The most well-known issue with the engines in this series is the oil burner because of rings;
The turbine wastegate actuator’s thrust wedge comes in second, followed by its malfunction;
Leaks are common with the intricate and costly plastic pump that has two thermostats;
Every 60,000 kilometers, the timing belt must be inspected; if it breaks, the valves will bend;
Additionally, noise and rattling are common complaints from owners of cars with such a motor.
