Engine Audi AAE

The popular 100 C4 model in the 45th body and the comparable A6 both had the 2.0-liter mono-injection Audi AAE engine built at the factory between 1990 and 1996. The Mono-Motronic injection system is the cause of this motor’s low power.

The most common causes of unstable operation are sensor failure or air leakage.
Failure of the ignition system’s components comes in second in frequency;
An oil burner and knocking hydraulic lifters are frequently seen on long runs; the timing belt typically lasts 90,000 kilometers, but when it breaks, the valves typically do not bend.
