Engine Volvo D4204T11

Disadvantages of the D4204T11 engine

Although this diesel engine is incredibly dependable and clever, it likes to annoy you with minor issues.
Owners frequently complain about burst rubber pipes on specialized forums.
Regular grease leaks also happen from under the valve cover and from the oil seals.
It is advised to replace the timing belt prior to the regulations because the valves will bend if it breaks.
Additionally, the crankshaft damper pulley and the EGR pipe are weak points.
