Disadvantages of the Audi DNWA engine
The owner’s desire for tuning is the main cause of this engine’s issues.
However, the unit doesn’t cause much trouble unless the power is drastically increased.
Even an aluminum block that uses plasma spraying in place of sleeves functions flawlessly.
We were only able to locate complaints regarding vacuum tube cracks on specialized forums.
