Engine Audi BPW

The company assembled the 2.0-liter Audi BPW 2.0 TDI diesel engine between 2004 and 2009, but it was only fitted to the highly sought-after A4 model in the B7 body. The most well-known issue with this motor was the oil pump’s hexagon wearing out quickly.

Disadvantages of the Audi BPW engine

Oil pump hex wear is a frequent issue with this engine;
Unit-injectors have a 250,000 km lifespan, but they are very costly to replace;
A tiny oil burner—roughly 0.5 liters per 1000 kilometers—is a common grievance among owners;
The engine frequently exhibits unstable behavior because of the turbine’s jammed geometry;
A clogged diesel particulate filter may also be a factor in engine traction failures.
