Disadvantages of the Alfa Romeo 939A5000 engine
Initially, this motor has accelerated carbon deposits on its valves;
If the injection pump fails, the engine won’t run faster than 3000 rpm;
The timing chain is distinguished by a relatively small resource, particularly its tensioner;
Remember to replace the water pump and balancer shaft with separate chains.
It is preferable to clean the crankcase ventilation system more frequently because it causes a lot of problems.
