The 1.3-liter 4-cylinder Geely MR479Q engine, which was manufactured in China between 1998 and 2016 and found in numerous local models, is only well-known overseas for the LC Cross hatchback. This device, which was installed on Lifan under the index LF479Q3, is a clone of the Toyota 8A-FE engine.

MR479QA is another Toyota A-series clone.

Disadvantages of the Geely MR479Q engine
Although the design of this motor is very dependable, the build quality frequently falls short;
A small resource distinguishes the ignition system’s sensors, attachments, and components;
It’s fortunate that the valves don’t bend here because the timing belt might break after 50,000 kilometers;
There are no hydraulic lifters here, and the valves need to be adjusted or they will burn out. Oil seals typically wear out after 80,000 kilometers and an oil burner appears.
