Disadvantages of the Peugeot DV4C engine
This diesel engine has a sizable resource for such a small volume;
Only the metering unit has issues; the Bosch fuel system is dependable;
The timing belt’s condition must be closely monitored because if it breaks, the valves will bend;
The turbine is inexpensive and has a short lifespan due to its simplicity and lack of variable geometry.
The engine’s crankshaft damper pulley and crankcase ventilation membrane are also weak points.
