Now found in the great majority of the French company’s current models, the 1.6-liter Peugeot DV6FCTED or DV6FC diesel engine was first introduced in 2014. This motor has been modified to produce 115 horsepower in the commercial vehicle version.

Disadvantages of the DV6FCTED engine
This diesel engine does not yet have comprehensible failure statistics; modern fuel equipment’s piezo injectors cannot handle poor diesel fuel;
The BlueHDi aftertreatment system will need special upkeep.
