From 1998 to 2004, the 2.0-liter Peugeot DW10ATED or RHZ diesel engine was manufactured and fitted to a number of mid-size concern models, including the 307, 406, and 607. An engine with a unique DW10UTED index was modified for use in commercial vehicles.

DW10TD, DW10ATED, DW10ATED4, DW10BTED4, DW10CTED4, DW10DTED4, DW10FCTED4, and DW10FDTED4 are all part of the DW10 line.
The engine was mounted on:
- Peugeot 307 I (T5/T6) in 2001 – 2004;
- Peugeot 406 I (D8/D9) in 1999 – 2004;
- Peugeot 607 I (Z8/Z9) in 1999 – 2004;
- Peugeot 806 I (U60) in 1999 – 2002;
- Citroen Xantia I (X1/X2) in 1998 – 2001;
- Citroen Xsara I (N6/N7) in 1999 – 2001;
- Citroen C5 I (X3/X4) in 2000 – 2004;
- Citroen Evasion I (U60) in 1999 – 2002;
- Suzuki Grand Vitara in 1998 – 2003.

Disadvantages of the DW10ATED engine
Initially, the owners of these motors frequently had to replace the crankshaft pulley;
An electric booster pump is not present in the tank of the largest resource;
The fuel pressure regulator frequently malfunctions due to a clogged mesh;
The remaining malfunctions are linked to a fuel filter replacement schedule infraction;
A particulate filter was added to several modifications, which may cause additional issues.
