Engine Volvo B5244T

From 1999 to 2002, the company’s plant produced the Volvo B5244T 2.4-liter turbo engine, which was fitted on well-known models like the C70, S70, and V70, including its off-road variant of the XC70. Disadvantages of the B5244T engine

Above all, they bemoan a buggy electric choke from Magneti Marelli on specialized forums;
Oil leaks from the phase control system rank second in popularity here.
The belt is supposed to last 120,000 kilometers, but the valves will bend if it bursts before then;
Owners frequently deal with oil consumption as a result of blocked crankcase ventilation;
A small resource also sets the fuel pump, water pump, and engine mounts apart.
