From 2013 to 2018, the Nissan HRA2DDT or HR12DDT 1.2-liter turbo engine was manufactured and installed in 1.2 DIG-T versions on popular models like the Juke, Pulsar, and Qashqai. Under its H5Ft index, this power unit is mounted on Renault and Dacia vehicles.

HR10DDT, HR12DE, HR12DDR, HR13DDT, HR15DE, and HR16DE are members of the HR family.
The engine was mounted on:
- Nissan Juke 1 (F15) in 2014 – 2018;
- Nissan Pulsar 6 (C13) in 2014 – 2018;
- Nissan Qashqai 2 (J11) in 2013 – 2018.

Disadvantages of the HRA2DDT engine
First-year motors frequently experienced electrical failures, and dealers repeatedly flashed the ECU;
But from the first few kilometers, oil consumption is the most problematic; carbon deposits on the valves from direct injection are the cause of this floating speed.
The crankcase ventilation pipe’s sealing ring frequently bursts, and the timing chain has a low resource capacity – it can occasionally be changed up to 100,000 kilometers.
