Disadvantages of the Audi BDV engine

Oil and antifreeze leaks are the primary complaints of vehicle owners with this engine;
Overheating the engine is worthwhile at least once, and small leaks can become streams;
Inadequate lubrication causes hydraulic lifters and chain tensioners to break down quickly;
A dirty throttle or idle valve is typically the cause of unstable engine operation;
The electrician frequently breaks sensors, ignition coils, and lambdas during lengthy runs.
