From 1994 to 2008, the company produced the 1.5-liter 16-valve Daewoo A15MF engine, which was fitted to several of the Korean company’s well-known models, including the Nexia and Espero. Only after 2002 did the power unit make its official debut in a few automotive markets.

Disadvantages of the Daewoo A15MF engine
The majority of this engine’s issues stem from inadequate maintenance;
Hydraulic lifters are rapidly impacted by low-quality oil or its infrequent replacement;
One sensor failure is the most frequent cause of engine failure.
Many experience leaks from beneath the valve cover gasket and oil pan; the timing belt resource is about 60,000 km long, and when it breaks, the valves bend 100%.
