Engine Daewoo T18SED

Only two platform models—the Lacetti and Nubira in J200 bodies—were equipped with the 1.8-liter, 16-valve Daewoo T18SED engine, which was built in South Korea between 2002 and 2007. The more recent F18D3 replaced this motor, which was a replica of the Opel X18XE power unit.

Disadvantages of the Daewoo T18SED engine

It is an easy-to-use, dependable power unit that requires little upkeep or repair;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition; it has a 60,000-kilometer lifespan and bends the valves when it breaks.
The engine’s exhaust manifold is another weak point; it frequently cracks; RPMs at idle typically float because of contamination of the idle control or crankcase ventilation; and the camshaft position sensor malfunctions more frequently than other electrical components.
