Engine Daewoo F10CV

Only the smallest model of the Korean company Matiz mini hatchback was equipped with the 1.0-liter Daewoo F10CV or LA2 engine, which was manufactured at the company’s factories between 2002 and 2016. The Chevrolet Spark with the B10S1 index had the exact same motor installed, but a different firmware.

Disadvantages of the Daewoo F10CV engine

Although this motor is not difficult to use, its lifespan is frequently restricted to 220,000 kilometers;
An impending overhaul is indicated by a notable decrease in cylinder compression;
Since there are no hydraulic lifters here, the valves must be adjusted every 50,000 kilometers. The timing belt has a modest resource of 40,000 kilometers, and when it breaks, the valves always bend; the unit dislikes bad fuel, and candles and nozzles quickly fail from it.
