The 2.5-liter Ford SGA engine, also known as the 2.5 Duratec V6 ST, was manufactured in the United States between 1999 and 2000 and was only fitted to the ST200 index, a charged version of the second generation Mondeo. A fairly large car could accelerate to hundreds of miles per hour in 7.7 seconds thanks to this power unit.

The SEA, LCB, REBA, and MEBA internal combustion engines are also part of the Duratec V6 line.
The engine was installed on:
- Ford Mondeo ST200 in 1999 – 2000.

Disadvantages of the Ford SGA engine
These power units are quite dependable despite the relatively high forcing;
The majority of engine issues are associated with overheating, which is typically brought on by a pump failure;
Additionally, a lot of car owners deal with fuel pump failure;
Grease will leak if the crankcase ventilation isn’t cleaned on a regular basis.
The lifespan of hydraulic lifters and hydraulic tensioners is significantly shortened by cheap oil.
