Engine Hyundai G8AB

From 2003 to 2008, the company manufactured the 4.5-liter gasoline V8 Hyundai G8AB engine, which was installed in either a Centennial limousine or the redesigned first-generation Equus. With distributed fuel injection, this motor was merely an adaptation of the Mitsubishi 8A80.

Disadvantages of the Hyundai G8AB engine

Although this unit is fully dependable and resource-efficient, its fuel consumption is excessive;
Catalysts can break down after just 100,000 kilometers and cannot withstand poor gasoline;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition because a breakage typically results in the motor’s death;
However, the engine’s primary issue is the nearly total scarcity of replacement parts.
