Disadvantages of the Hyundai G6DH engine

Due to the occurrence of rings, oil consumption is the subject of the majority of complaints on specialized forums.
This engine is vulnerable to carbon buildup on intake valves because of direct injection.
Because aluminum units are prone to overheating, keep the cooling system clean.
The timing system had numerous issues in the beginning, particularly with the hydraulic tensioner.
Since there are no hydraulic lifters in this area, valve clearances must be changed on a regular basis.
