Disadvantages of the Mazda B5-DE engine

Owners of a straightforward and dependable engine don’t have many issues.
Discussions on specialized forums indicate that this is where the ignition system fails most frequently.
Hydraulic lifters can travel up to 100,000 kilometers and are not tolerant of cheap oil.
The valves do not bend here when the timing belt breaks, even though it is intended to last for about 60,000 kilometers.
Rings are a common sign of an oil burner on very long runs.
