Since 2022, the company has been producing the 1.5-liter Nissan MR15DDT (or MR15 for short) or 1.5 e-Power engine, which is only found in hybrid versions of the third-generation Qashqai crossover. Disadvantages of the MR15DDT engine
Since this hybrid engine was only recently introduced, its dependability is unknown;
The company has been using the e-Power system for a long time, and it is trouble-free;
As with all direct injection engines, intake valves will get overgrown with soot, and owners are more likely to complain about transmission issues than power unit issues.
