The company’s most expensive models, such as the American Infiniti Q45, were equipped with the 4.1-liter Nissan VH41DE engine, also known as VH41, which was manufactured between 1991 and 2001. Fans of replacing strong engines in their vehicles continue to be drawn to this power unit.

The design of TVH41DE was based on that of his older brother, VH45DE. The installation of a crankshaft with a smaller crank diameter and longer connecting rods allowed for the volume reduction while maintaining the cylinder’s diameter of 93 mm. As a result, the piston stroke could be lowered to 76 mm. The engine produces 377 Nm at 4000 rpm and 268 hp (200 kW) at 5600 rpm.
The VH45DE, an internal combustion engine, is another member of the VH family.
The engine was mounted on:
- Nissan Cima 2 (Y32) in 1991 – 1996;
- Nissan Cima 3 (Y33) in 1996 – 2001;
- Nissan Leopard 3 (Y32) in 1992 – 1996;
- Infiniti Q45 2 (Y33) in 1996 – 2000.

Disadvantages of the VH41DE engine
There are no chain issues because this engine uses metal guides;
Only the knock sensor and mass air flow sensor failures can be identified as the motor’s weak points;
This engine exhibits outstanding dependability and service life in every other regard.
