Disadvantages of the XUD9SD engine
The expansion tank’s low location is the motor’s primary issue;
Consequently, the absence of coolant causes the cylinder head gasket to fail;
The injection pump will malfunction if the fuel filter replacement procedures are not followed;
When replacing the fuel filter, the glass frequently breaks, but it is not inexpensive;
Here, the thermal clearances of the valves need to be adjusted about every 100,000 kilometers;
The engine turbine’s condition is rapidly impacted by the use of cheap oil;
The network reports instances of prechambers collapsing into cylinders at extremely high mileage.
